Back in Lisboa

Our flight out of Madeira was hours late leaving but not because of the high winds that were battering the island today but rather because of problems from London which were never really explained. We are at the Corinthia Hotel in the business section of Lisbon and it is a pretty upscale place. We didn't check in until 8:00pm so headed for a late dinner in the outside Tapas Bar. We expected Lisboa to hot but it was really cool this evening to the point of having to use blankets to keep warm while sitting outside. A fancy pricey dinner that was not all that great but lots of hot water and soft beds tonight. We head for Toronto tomorrow afternoon.
